Situated to the west of the Bodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree where achieved Enlightenment and became Lord Buddha, Bodhi Sarovar is located in the form of a pond in the district Gaya. It is said that Buddha took bath in this pond (Sarovar) before going for meditation. It is a beautiful place that is worth visiting.

The Sarovar (Pond) where Gautam took bath before going in for meditation has great spiritual significance for Buddhists. It gives the feeling of reminiscence where you feel as if you are seeing the young prince going and coming for bath. A pilgrimage can not forget to see this place while visiting Bodhgaya.
